Trinidad and Tobago 50plus & Seniors Association of Canada
(Ontario Chapter) was established in 1996 by Rasheed Sultan-Khan. It was incorporated and registered as a non-profit organization in 2001.
Registered & Non-Registered membership > 400 plus
The association is incorporated and registered as a non-profit organization with the Province of Ontario and Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
General meetings are held 10 times per year. Guest speakers are invited to educate members on Health and Current Issues.
Annual General Meetings are held every two years when executives are elected.
Executive meetings are conducted on the second Saturday of each month.
A Drop-in activity program is held at Ellesmere Community Centre at 20 Canadian Road
(Ellesmere Rd. and Warden) every Monday from 1 p.m. with the exception of Public Holidays
Currently with the assistance of a Government New Horizon Grants, registered members are able to attend Computer literacy classes in partnership with Seneca College.
The association is also in partnership with Ontario Association for Community Living, the
Jamaican Canadian Association and is a registered member of Ontario Coalition of Seniors

Annual membership
Single: Fifteen dollars ($15.00)
Couple: Twenty five dollars ($25.00)
Membership is open to nationals of Trinidad & Tobago, their spouse and off springs who are fifty years and over and a resident of Canada.
